“მაუწყებლის შესახებ კანონში” ცვლილებები დამტკიცებულია. ერთპარტიულმა პარლამენტმა გუშინ მესამე მოსმენით მიიღო ცვლილებები, რომელიც მაუწყებლებს უცხოეთიდან დაფინანსების მიღებას უკრძალავს. იკრძალება უცხოური ძალისგან როგორც პირდაპირი, ისე არაპირდაპირი დაფინანსება, გარდა კომერციული რეკლამისა. ასევე აკრძალულია უცხოური ძალის მიერ მაუწყებლის მომსახურების შესყიდვა, ან და პროგრამის მომზადების ან/და ეთერში გადაცემის პირდაპირი ან ირიბი დაფინანსება.
მაუწყებლებს ქვეყნის შიგნით არც სოციალური რეკლამის მომსახურება და ამ გზით შემოსავლის მიღება შეეძლებათ. “ქართული ოცნების გადაწყვეტილებით” მანდატი გაეზარდა კომუნიკაციების ეროვნულ კომისიას. “მაუწყებლის შესახებ კანონში ცვლილებით პირებს მაუწყებლებისთვის სასამართლოსა და კომუნიკაციების კომისიაში საჩივრით მიმართვის ახალ მექანიზმები უჩნდება. კანონპროექტი განსაზღვრავს "დაინტერესებული პირის" ცნებას, რომელსაც მაუწყებლების წინააღმდეგ სარჩელების აღძვრა შეეძლებათ.
ამავე კანონპროექტში გაწერილია ახალი ამბების პროგრამების, საავტორო გადაცემებისა და სხვა ტელეპროგრამების ეთიკის სტანდარტები. ეს სტანდარტები შეეხება მათ შორის საგამოძიებო სიუჟეტების მომზადებას და მათ ეთერში გაშვებას. იმისთვის, რომ ცვლილებები ამოქმედდეს, მას ქართული ოცნების არჩეული პრეზიდენტის ხელმოწერა სჭირდება. რას ნიშნავს, ეს ცვლილებები ტელემაუწყებლებისთვის?
