მედიაში პრაღის უნივერსიტეტში მომხდარი მასობრივი შეაიარაღებული თავდასხმის ამსახველი ვიდეო ვრცელდება. კადრებში ისმის იარაღის სროლის ხმა და შეშინებული ადამიანები, როგორ ხტებიან მაღალსართულიანი შენობების ფანჯრებიდან. ვიდეოში ნაჩვენებია ასევე უნივერსიტეტის კორპუსიდან ადამიანების ევაკუაციის მომენტები.
შეგახსენებთ, 24 წლის ჩეხმა სტუდენტმა ხუთშაბათს ცეცხლსასროლი იარაღით საკუთარი მამა მოკლა, შემდეგ კი პრაღის უნივერსიტეტში სროლა მოაწყო. ჯამში, 15 ადამიანია დაღუპული, მათ შორის 14 უშუალოდ უნივერსიტეტში. ამავე დროს დაშავდა 25 პირი. დაღუპულია თავად თავდამსხმელიც.
ადგილობრივი პოლიციის ცნობით, თავდამსხმელი ნასამართლევი არ ყოფილა და ის მარტო მოქმედებდა. შინაგან საქმეთა მინისტრმა, ვიტ რაკუსანმა განაცხადა, რომ სროლას საერთაშორისო ტერორიზმთან არანაირი კავშირი არ აქვს.
