2017 წელს დაარსებული იაკო გოგებაშვილის საყმაწვილო ლიტერატურული პრემიის გამარჯვებულები 26 ოქტომბერს გამოვლინდნენ. ჟიურიმ ნატო ინგოროყვას, ზაზა აბზიანიძის, თეა თოფურიას, მარიამ წიკლაურისა და გიორგი კაკაბაძის შემადგენლობით 2017 წელს საქართველოში გამოცემულ წიგნებს, პიესებს და ინოვაციურ საბავშვო პროექტებს შორის გამარჯვებულებიდან საუკეთესო პოეტური, პროზაული, ილუსტრირებული წიგნები და საუკეთესო საბავშო დრამატურგიაში გამორჩეული წიგნები შეარჩია. ნომინაციებს შორის იყო საუკეთესო ნათარგმნი საბავშვო/საყმაწვილო წიგნი, საბავშვო-საყმაწვილო ინოვაციური პროექტი და პრემია საბავშვო ლიტერატურაში გაწეული ღვაწლისთვის რომელიც გურამ პეტრიაშვილს გადაეცა. .
პრემია ჯერ ძალიან ახალგაზრდაა, იაკობ გოგებაშვილის სახელობის პრემიის გამარჯვებულები წელს მეორედ გამოვლინდნენ, თუმცა უნდა აღინიშნოს, რომ საბავშო ლიტარატურის წახალისებისათვის ძალიან მნიშვნელოვანია.
