გერმანიაში 2 დღის წინ ევროვიზია 2015-ის შესარჩევი ნაციონალური კონკურსი გაიმართა. ფინალში ანდრეას კუმერტი და ანნ სოფი დაუპირისპირდნენ ერთმანეთს. 78%-ით ანდრეას კუმერტმა სიმღერით ''heart of stone'' გერმანელი მოსახლეობის ხმების უმრავლესობა მოიპოვა და ვენის საგზური მიიღო, თუმცა მოხდა გაუთვალისწინებელი რამ: ანდრეასმა გამარჯვებულის ტიტულის მიღებიდან რამდენიმე წამში უარი განაცხადა ევროვიზიის კონკურსში მონაწილეობაზე და თავისი ტიტული ანნ სოფის დაუთმო. ანდრეასის მამა, ქალაქის მერი, სადაც ანდრეასი ცხოვრობს გაკვირვებული არიან მისი ამ ქმედებით, თუმცა მის გადაწყვეტილებას პატივს სცემენ.
