ბათუმი, ევროპის სოფლის ტურიზმის ასამბლეას და საერთაშორისო კონფერენციას მასპინძლობს. საკუთარ გამოცდილებებს, ათი ქვეყნის წარმომადგენლები უზიარებენ ერთმანეთს. ქართველი და უცხოელი დელეგატები, მოხსენენბს კითხულობენ ისეთ თემებზე, როგორიცაა: აგროტურიზმის შესაძლებლობები და პერსპექტივები, არამატერიალური კულტურული მემკვიდრეობა, წარმატებული ისტორიები სოფლად, სათავგადასავლო ტურიზმი და სხვა. ევროპის სოფლის ტურიზმის გენერალური ასამბლეა, ბათუმში, წელს პირველად ტარდება. სოფლის ტურიზმის საერთაშორჲსო კონფერენცია კი, აჭარაში, მეოთხედ იმართება. როგორც კონფერენციაში, ისე ასამვლეაში, მონაწილეობენ სოფლის და ეკოტურიზმის მიმართულებით მომუშავე არასამთავრობო ორგანიზაციებიც. ღონისძიება, ორდღიანია და ხვალ სრულდება.
