On day five, participating teams are definitely beginning to feel challenged. As teams are now more than halfway to Amsterdam with over 12,000 cans of Red Bull traded, elements including travel strikes, injuries, illness and otherwise are starting to weigh on teams across Europe. With 2 teams on the brink of exiting the competition, the crew at central command were able to step in and coach them off the ledge. Meanwhile, the creative minds and camaraderie of various teams allowed them to overcome this obstacles by any means necessary – planes, trains and even tractors – to make it to the next checkpoint.
