შინაგან საქმეთა სამინისტროს თანამშრომლებმა, დანაშაულის პრევენციის მიზნით, ბოლო 2 კვირის განმავლობაში აჭარაში, სამეგრელოსა და კახეთში უკანონო ცეცხლსასროლი იარაღი და საბრძოლო მასალა ამოიღო. ცეცხლსასროლი იარაღისა და საბრძოლო მასალის მართლსაწინააღმდეგო შეძენა-შენახვის და ტარების ბრალდებით დაკავებულია 11 პირი.
სამართალდამცველებმა, დაკავებულების პირადი, საცხოვრებელი სახლებისა და ავტომანქანის ჩხრეკისას, სანადირო თოფი, მაკაროვის სისტემის 3 პისტოლეტი, კალაშნიკოვის სისტემის 2 ავტომატური ცეცხლსასროლი იარაღი, „ბერეტას“ სისტემის 3 პისტოლეტი, „ჩზ“-ს მოდელის 2 პისტოლეტი, „მოსინის“ ტიპის 2 კარაბინი, „GOLD-STAR-2002“-ის მოდელის პისტოლეტი, 13 მჭიდი, სხვადასხვა ტიპის იარაღისთვის განკუთვნილი 200 საბრძოლო ვაზნა და 1 ჯავშანჟილეტი ამოიღეს.
ასევე, აქტიურად გრძელდება მოქალაქეების მიერ პოლიციაში სხვადასხვა ტიპის იარაღისა და საბრძოლო მასალის ნებაყოფლობით წარმოდგენა.
სამცხე-ჯავახეთში ორმა მოქალაქემ ნებაყოფლობით წარმოადგინა: გადაჭრილი სანადირო თოფი, პისტოლეტი, მჭიდი, სხვადასხვა ტიპის იარაღისთვის განკუთვნილი 316 საბრძოლო ვაზნა, 4 ხელყუმბარა და ხელყუმბარის 5 კორპუსი.
