სამართალდამცველებმა გუშინ, ვერაზე, ტატიშვილის ქუჩაზე მომხდარი მკვლელობა ცხელ კვალზე გახსნეს. ჩატარებული აქტიური ოპერატიულ-სამძებრო და საგამოძიებო ღონისძიებების შედეგად, პოლიციელებმა 1975 წელს დაბადებული ვ.წ., განზრახ მკვლელობის ბრალდებით, თბილისში დააკავეს. მის მიერ ჩადენილი დანაშაული 7-დან 15 წლამდე ვადით თავისუფლების აღკვეთას ითვალისწინებს.
გამოძიებამ დაადგინა, რომ ბრალდებულმა მიმდინარე წლის 11 მარტს თბილისში, ტატიშვილის ქუჩაზე, შურისძიების მოტივით, ნაცნობს - 1957 წელს დაბადებულ გ.რ.-ს, მისსავე საცხოვრებელ სახლში, სანადირო თოფიდან გასროლით სხეულზე სასიკვდილო ჭრილობა მიაყენა და მიიმალა. გ.რ. შემთხვევის ადგილზე გარდაიცვალა.
სამართალდამცველებმა ბრალდებული მომხდარიდან რამდენიმე საათში დააკავეს. პოლიციამ დანაშაულის ჩადენის იარაღი - სანადირო თოფი ნივთმტკიცებად ამოიღო.
გამოძიება განზრახ მკვლელობის ფაქტზე მიმდინარეობს, საქართველოს სსკ-ს 108-ე მუხლით.
