გარემოსა და ბუნებრივი რესურსების დაცვის მინისტრმა გიგლა აგულაშვილმა ტურიზმის ეროვნული ადმინისტრაციის ხელმძღვანელთან გიორგი ჩოგოვაძესთან ერთად, ყაზბეგის ეროვნული პარკის ადმინისტრაციის და ვიზიტორთა ცენტრის მშენებლობას საფუძველი ჩაუყარა.
გიგლა აგულაშვილმა ვიზიტორთა ცენტრის მნიშვნელობაზე ისაუბრა. მისი თქმით, ცენტრში ტურისტები დეტალურ ინფორმაციას მიიღებენ პარკის ბიომრავალფეროვნების და ტურისტული სერვისების შესახებ.
შენობაში საგამოფენო სივრცე, ტურიზმის საინფორმაციო ცენტრი და ადმინისტრაცია განთავსდება.
მშენებლობას გერმანიის მთავრობის და გერმანიის რეკონსტრუქციისა და განვითარების ბანკის (KFW) მხარდაჭერით დაცული ტერიტორიების სააგენტო ახორციელებს. პროექტის ეფექტურად განხორციელებას საკონსულტაციო ჯგუფი (GFA) უზრუნველყოფს. პროექტის ღირებულება 793 450 ლარს შეადგენს.
2017 წელს დაცულ ტერიტორიებზე ინფრასტრუქტურული პროექტების განსახორციელებლად 6 737 500 ლარი დაიხარჯება.
