It has been eight years since the Georgia-Russia crisis of 2008. But in the time that has passed, what has happened to the victims who lost their homes and villages in the conflict? And is the country any closer to reconciliation with the two Russian-backed breakaway regions – Abkhazia and South Ossetia? In this film, our colleagues from the NATO TV CHANNEL visit Tserovani, an Internally Displaced People (IDP) settlement near Tbilisi, to meet some of the residents who lost their homes and villages in the conflict. They also join the EU Monitoring Mission on a patrol to see what the reality is for the people who live on the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) which separates Georgia and South Ossetia. Film is provided by the NATO Channel.
