In the final episode of Chasing El Niño "The Sierra Trifecta", Chris Benchelter brings a new friend along - X Games great Jossi Wells - for his final adventure into the backcountry.
After a winter of following long-awaited mega storms, spring has sprung in Mammoth. Leaving Chris and his ever growing ski posse to take on the ultimate May day, the Sierra Trifecta, to squeeze the most out of a waning winter. The Trifecta is to ski a couloir in the early morning, go climbing mid-day and mountain bike until the sunset.
As Chris transitions from the deep powder of January to the spring slush of May, he's already plotting his next season and dreaming of the storms he's going to chase.
