A demolition team were left red-faced after the building they were trying to bring down got stuck leaning to one side. Workers used 100kg of explosives in a controlled explosion, but it was not enough to bring down the 4,000-tonne silo in Redbank. For around 40 minutes, the structure resembled the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy as it stood at an angle.
Excavators were used to push the building the rest of the way over. Report by Anna Collinson.
