საქართველოს ტექნიკური უნივერსიტეტის 72 წლის პროფესორი ჰენრი კუპრაშვილი მსოფლიო ჩემპიონია. რუსთავი 2. დილა მშვიდობისა საქართველო. 01.11.2018.
2018 წლის 27-28 ოქტომბერს ეგვიპტის ქ. ჰურგადაში ჩატარდა მსოფლიო ჩემპიონატი თანამედროვე ხუთჭიდის ორ სახეობაში ბიატლსა (სირბილი, ცურვა) და ტრიატლში (სროლა, ცურვა, სირბილი). ასაკობრივ კატეგორია 70+ ში მსოფლიო ჩემპიონი გახდა ჰენრი კუპრაშვილი, მან აგრეთვე მოიპოვა ბრინჯაოს მედალი ტრიატლშიც ასაკობრივ კატეგორია 60+.
საქართველოდან წარგზავნილებიდან მესამე ადგილები მოიპოვეს კატეგორია-U13-ში ნოე ფანცხავამ და კატეგორია 40+50 ლია ქორჩილავამ. ხოლო კატეგორია-U19 ქრისტინა ჭიტაძემ მოიპოვა მეოთხე ადგილი. საქართველოს ნაკრების გამგზავრება თბილისის მერიამ დააფინანსა.
