The classic course of Jerez, Spain once again hosts the first event of the season. Watch the highlights from day one as 25 young riders between the ages of 13 and 16 come together to kick off the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup 2018 season.
2018 is the 12th season of the Rookies Cup and 171 riders from 34 different nations have been involved. By the end of this year, there will have been 144 races.
Just as importantly Rookies have already gone on to win 69 Grand Prix on their way to five World Championships. In total they have stood on the Grand Prix podium 204 times, sometimes making it a clean sweep of the top three positions
